eBADGE's 2nd Workshop at EUW15 - join us!

eBADGE's 2nd workshop will take place within the framework of European Utility Week 2015 during the morning session on November 5th 2015 in Vienna. The 2nd workshop will present the project's final outcomes and highlights. The consortium experts will reveal the key research findings including;
- eBADGE will enable a 50% reduction in costs for balancing services
- eBADGE will enable telecom operators to liberalize energy consumption data
- VPPs can optimize the energy value chain.

Additionally the project's ICT tools, namely the Home Energy Hub & Cloud solutions, will be presented.

eBADGE is an EU-funded R&D project with the objective of designing a pan-European, intelligent balancing mechanism for the electricity balancing markets. The project is managed by a multi-stakeholder consortium including 13 partners covering 5 EU member states and it is led by Telekom Slovenia. The project is presently being finalized after 3 year's R&D efforts. The outcomes will be presented at the workshop - don't miss it!

NATCONSUMERS project - join the stakeholder committee

NATCONSUMERS, a new H2020 project, held its first workshop earlier this month in Oslo; "The Language of Energy". The workshop gathered the project consortium, stakeholder committee members and external parties for a 2-day workshop focusing on differences in electricity consumption patterns across the EU in order to improve the understanding of energy consumers and how to best engage them.

The key aim of this project is to develop an advanced and integral user-centred framework for the implementation of efficient energy feedback programmes in the residential area. The project will engage with residential electricity consumers across Europe to achieve more sustainable energy consumption. Our approach relies on the complete characterisation of EU energy consumers and the design of specific personalized actions tailored to each consumer pattern detected based on the use of natural language and emotional contents. Understanding user needs and adapting to their requirements and expectations are the most appropriate mechanisms for increasing the engagement of citizens in more sustainable energy consumption habits.

Join the Project Stakeholder Committee
VaasaETT is managing the stakeholder committee of NATCONSUMERS, which is set up to collaborate with the project consortium on a voluntary, non-binding and complimentary basis throughout the project lifetime, which is set for a 2-year period. If you would like to know more and are considering joining - get in touch

Contact person: Thomas Mikkelsen: thomas.mikkelsen@vaasaett.com

Stakeholders will participate and benefit by:
- Having access to NATCONSUMERS model; Understand the end-consumer through NATCONSUMERS. The segmentation and feedback programmes developed through the project will be the most efficient on the market and will derive from a profound understanding of the differences and similarities of energy consumers across Europe
- Having the opportunity to steer the direction of the project to meet your company
requirements
- Receiving a prototype of the feedback programmes ready to customize for your needs
- Gaining access to pilot data: Gain access to the consumer pilots being used to test and verify the viability of the project
