Honorary Guards in Military Cemeteries Across Israel
This morning (Tuesday) honorary guards were held in all military cemeteries across Israel in a special framework led by an IDF officer, either a Major General or a Brigadier General and attended by a Casualty Officer, a Military Rabbi, a Defense Ministry representative, and honorary guards.

During the honorary guard that began following the remembrance siren, a prayer was commemorated in the memory of the fallen by the rabbi, a wreath on behalf of the State of Israel was placed on the wall of the cemetery and a memorial candle was lit. IDF troops stood guard by the candle for two hours.

In addition, other ceremonies will be held by various corps and brigades at memorial monuments across the country.
