Dear all,
We would like to thank you for taking the time to join us for the first meeting of the Young Funder's forum. We were so happy that many of you contributed and proved that the Young Funders Forum has a pulse - even if it the shape is yet to come! (Thank you Joanna- great copywriting!)
Maya and the JFN team had several conversations after the meeting, and the response has been very positive with a wish for more meetings that will enable us to get to know each other and each person's philanthropic activity.
Importantly, we understand that this is a unique place to have open and authentic conversations that share our diverse and common experiences, enable us to learn and collaborate.
For those who were not able to make it, there was a strong sense that this group does not exist elsewhere and we would be happy to build it by meeting over the next year.
For now we are sticking with the format of meeting at someone's home on Friday morning and invite you to save the date on Friday 24th February 2017, 09:00 (meeting to start at 09:30).
