Celebrate Israel's 70th with BINA!
_____-______(1)
Dear Friends,

You only turn 70 once.

Turning 70 comes with its advantages and its challenges: senior discounts, the nachat (joy) of seeing children and students grow up, but also new aches and pains, questions about the future...

70 is also a significant number in Jewish culture, symbolizing both unity and diversity: the 70 members of the Sanhedrin council, the 70 faces of the Torah, et cetera.

BINA will be marking Israel's 70th with a year of celebration and reflection. We will celebrate the building of a nation and the blossoming of a new Jewish and Hebrew culture. We will celebrate diversity; we will celebrate democracy and pluralism and social action. We will reflect on how far we have come and where we are going.

Where will Israel be in another 10 years? In another 70 years?

The choices we make today will forever shape the future of Israel and the Jewish world. Join us in helping to make it a future of pluralism, democracy, equality, justice, Jewish renaissance, and so much more.

Mazal Tov!

Watch: Noga Brenner Samia on i24 on Judaism and Democracy
We need to define Judaism in Israel as much more than a religion. It’s a people, a culture, a set of values. When we see Judaism in that way, it’s not in conflict with democracy, it’s harmonious with it – one informing the other.

Watch BINA Deputy Director, Noga Brenner Samia on i24NEWS English discussing Israel's greatest achievements at 70 and Judaism and Democracy - Israel as a Jewish AND Democratic State.
