Shnat Hachshara at
Herzl Seminar

The Herzl Seminar at IDC Herzliya was attended by Latin America and South African Shnatties. The day started with a sumptuous breakfast, a tour and an explanation of programs abroad. The day resumed with activities focusing on the change of consciousness of Herzl, from assimilation to becoming the father of Zionism, the anti-Semitic influences in the process and why Zionism is a historical milestone. They  also focused on activism, Tikkun Olam as a basic Jewish value and the effect of these on the life of Herzl. The day finished off with a play on the live of Herzl. It was an enriching and fascinating Day indeed!

Holland – Seminar Madrichim and a tour to Poland

Seminar Madrichim on group dynamics was held on July 2nd – 4th. After a period of a year and a half without any activity, the need to strengthen and understand how to return to routine arose as well as the understanding of how to get the most out of the training
staff and later also from the group of trainees. We learned a lot about the structure of the group, developmental trends, and ways of leading a group to reach its full potential. The seminar was led by two amazing Madrichim, Sarah and Boaz Kahn. We left the seminar strengthened and well prepared for summer camp!
