L’Université de Sherbrooke lance son concours de bourses postdoctorales Claire-Deschênes pour les doctorantes et jeunes docteures. Il met en jeu huit allocations postdoctorales (40 000$/an, jusqu’à 2 ans) rattachée chacune à un poste de professeure à l’Université de Sherbrooke.

La campagne de financement post-doctoral AMBASSADEUR 2020

Le ministère des armées attribue tous 2 bourses postdoctorales dans le cadre de son programme « Ambassadeur ». Le programme a pour objectif de financer un séjour de 12 mois à l’étranger pour un post-doctorant engagé sur un projet de recherche sur des enjeux de sécurité et de défense, quelle que soit la discipline  en sciences humaines et sociales (géographie, économie, sciences politiques, droit...).

AMBASSADEUR Postdoctoral fundings 2020


The French Ministry of the Armed Forces awards 2 postdoctoral fellowships as part of its "Ambassador" program.
The aim of the program is to finance a 12-month stay abroad for a postdoctorate engaged in a research project on security and defence issues. The call is open to all fields of human and social sciences (geography, economics, political science, law..).

Thomas Jefferson Fund for Transatlantic Research

The Thomas Jefferson Fund, launched by the Embassy of France in the United States and the FACE Foundation, supports new collaborations and innovative projects between promising young researchers in France and the U.S. The fund will support projects led by two outstanding young American and French researchers at the beginning of their careers. Each grant will amount to $20,000 over 2 years to be split equally between the French and the American teams and will be awarded per funding cycle in each of the following fields:
• Humanities and Social Sciences (SSH)
• Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
• Sciences for Society (interdisciplinary STEM-SSH projects)

Application deadline: February 24th 2020.
