Mr.Tommy O'Brien

Tommy O’Brien is the Lead Field Applications Engineer for Excelsys Technologies with over a decade of successful experience working alongside design engineers to support Excelsys power solutions in medical and industrial applications.

Tommy holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from University College Galway and a Masters degree in Sustainable Energy from University College Cork.

Mr. Guido Pardo-Roques

Guido is the Chairman of Twin Digital Healthcare Ventures and works with promising Digital Health, Healthcare IT and Medical Device start ups to unlock their value and guide them to success.

During the last 10 years he was the President and CEO of Philips (Israel) and General Manager of Philips Medical Systems Technologies. Previously he was VP R&D for Elscint, Picker and Philips. In these roles he proved to be a serial technological and business entrepreneur that grew Philips Israel from a small R&D Center to a 1,000+ people industry exporting hundreds of M$/year and spanning from Multi-Modality Imaging to world leading Advanced Software Applications, from Digital Healthcare to Healthcare IT, including a Technological Incubator (Sanara Ventures in cooperation with Teva) with a long list of startups across all the continuum of care. Today Philips (Israel) is the flagship of the Medical Device Industry in Israel.

Guido holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion and an M.B.A. from Haifa University.

He was awarded the Rothschild Prize for Industrial Innovation by the President of the State of Israel for the World First Multislice CT Scanner. Guido is a full member of the Board of Governors of the Technion and served as Member of the Board for IATI and the Israeli Hi-Tech Association.
In October 2019, Guido was awarded the Technion Alumni Medal for lifetime achievements in the high-tech industry, his significant contributions to the development of life-saving technologies and to establishing the medical device industry as one of the pillars of the Israeli economy.
