Israel - Australia Newsletter

February 2022

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

As the month of March commenced, it seems that there will not be a dull moment with going back to the pre-pandemic business routine.

While the effects of Covid are slowly diminishing and following on Australia's official opening of its borders to international travel, expected business visits with business groups and delegations are on the cards again.

While a positive forecast is looming through reconnecting with the global economy, recent floods in the eastern coast of Australia and a crisis in Eastern Europe is likely to take their toll on the global and local economy and hamper economic growth and development that stalled over the past couple of years.

In this monthly newsletter, we are pleased to feature updates and stories about Israel's economic growth, specifically, the drive by the developing technology sector; we are also always happy to spotlight the success of Israeli companies in the Australian market.

In this edition, we focus on updates in Agriculture and the future of the farming industry and updates on advancements in healthcare.

We invite you to read and enjoy the different articles and engage with the Trade Commission. We invite you to realise the potential opportunities to partner with innovative Israeli technology companies and startups.

We wish everyone a pleasant weekend ahead.
