New Recommendations Regarding Data Transfers Outside the EU

Dear Clients,

Following a recent ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union on personal data transfer from the European Economic Area ("EEA") to organizations outside the EEA (primarily to the United States), a new draft of the Standard Contractual Clauses was published.

We suggest revisiting your company's data-flow in light of these changes, including intercompany transfers between affiliated companies.

Please note this is the first of two Client Updates on the subject. The second one will be sent in the next few weeks.
