Almost every company in the Israeli market offers its employees an equity benefit plan, whether they’re a global company offering equity to employees of an Israeli subsidiary or an Israeli company offering equity to its employees in Israel and worldwide. Regulations are different in each country and can have a huge impact on which awards you grant and what the legal, tax and reporting consequences for the company and the employees will be. Examining these issues prior to granting awards is crucial.
We have the pleasure of hosting
- Yael Elbaz-Roiter, Director and Head of Teva Stock Plans Management at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd for the past 7 years. The department runs all the equity incentive plans administration of Teva’s employees in over 60 countries as well as the shareholder’s database and company dividend process.
- Bob Grayson and Jordan Levy of the boutique law firm, Tapestry Compliance LLP, which provides global legal and tax advice regarding employee and executive compensation.
The morning seminar will include
- A presentation by Bob Grayson and Jordan Levy about how to design and launch an equity plan globally;
- A presentation by Shachar Porat, a partner in the HFN tax department and the head of the HFN equity based compensation practice group discussing Israeli specific compliance challenges; and
- A panel discussion about implementing global equity plans in which Yael Elbaz-Roiter will participate together with Bob and Shachar.
