Our IDC Professors are providing cutting-edge programs for their students in all of our schools. They are publishing articles and working on innovative projects that are receiving major attention. The Raphael Recanati International School team delivers social and cultural activities for the students daily. IDC Herzliya announced that we have welcomed our first student from the UAE and they honored a student studying with us by raising the South Korean flag to join our other flags flying on campus. This is how we commemorate the students we have with us from all over the world.

We were saddened to hear the news of the passing of Dina Recanati. The Recanati family has been a pillar of IDC since the beginning and were our partners in establishing the Raphael Recanati International School and the student dorms. Dina was not only a committed philanthropist, she was a talented artist. She will be missed by so many.

This week we had over 60 IDC alumni on a rooftop overlooking all of Manhattan for a happy hour, see more pictures here. The love that these alumni have for their experience at IDC continues well after they graduate IDC and it is heartwarming to meet such an amazing group of people, that have maintained their friendships even after leaving school. AFIDC strives to provide events, content, and networking to our thousand of Alumni living in the States. Whether the United States is a brief stopping point in their life or their permanent home, we want to ensure that we maintain a strong connection to this network. They are the leaders of ensuring IDC Herzliya continues to be a prestigious, first-class institution of learning.

‘Guardian of The Walls’: The North American Front
By: Dalia Zahger Levy
As conflict intensified on the Israeli-Palestinian front, and as more and more lives were ruined and taken, the self-proclaimed pro-Palestinian movements around the world — and in North America particularly — raised their heads to once again expose their real intention: the complete destruction of Israel, the only Jewish state and refuge in the world.

Managing the changing world of work-
IDC's MA in Organizational Behavior and Development
What makes organizations tick? What is organizational culture? How can managers motivate and better communicate with employees?

IDC Herzliya’s MA program in Organizational Behavior and Development provides the answers to these and other critical issues of organizational management in an intensive, two-year graduate program that blends organizational theory with practical, hands-on experience.

Dr. Dana Pereg, who has headed the program for the past six years, explains that students in the program will not only learn about organizational behavior but will gain a great deal of understanding about about themselves. “The program is not only about cognitive and academic knowledge,” she explains, “but is about understanding who you are, both personally and professionally. You can’t be a great consultant if your inner story is not clear to you.”

IDC Alumni - Rudy Rochman
Jewish & Israel Rights Activist
Rudy Rochman, One Year MBA alumni originally from France, has become "a battering ram against anti-Semitism." Rochman is a Jewish and Israel Rights Activist who started a chapter of Students Supporting Israel (SSI) at Columbia University during his undergraduate studies as the Israeli community was struggling to defend themselves from various anti-Israel movements on campus.
Rochman is now one of the biggest influencers when it comes to standing against the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement and Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP). He wants to educate those who have been told that Jews are the enemy and he is giving students throughout America valuable tools to stand up for themselves unlike any individual in our lifetime.
RRIS_Graduat...
"I started making videos to expose people who are anti-Semitic and a lot of people started following these videos, feeling empowered, and I realized I was onto something. Things started to go viral and I’ve continued it." Rudy uses his background and expertise to inspire the next generation of Jews to narrate their own story and to write the next chapter.

In 2018, Rochman received the 36 Under 36 award for being one of the most influential Jews in the world.

RRIS Student of the Month: Natasha Lotkin
Hi guys! My name is Natasha Lotkin, originally from Cape Town, South Africa. I’m currently in my first year studying Business and Economics. One of my reasons for making aliyah was to study, I just did not know where, when, what or how. I went to multiple open days (pre-COVID) and upon arriving on campus at IDC I felt “at home” everyone was so welcoming and everyone spoke English! I was also very impressed with the extra curricular activities and decided to join the Investment club!

Outside of studying, I work in a #fintech startup company and I am able to get first hand experience and a better understanding in some of the things we learn in class. I look forward to what the next three years will have in store!"
