Shalom,
This time we chose to put the spotlight on the bottom line and the most significant aspect of collaborative processes: How do we know if it really works?
We will share with you a summary, in Hebrew of a book that examines "is the Collective Impact approach truly effective?" as well as a few principles of measurement and evaluation of a collaborative process which we learned at the annual, international conference of Collective Impact that was held last month.
And not only theory - we are also inviting you to experience Collective Impact in practice! See below for information on our new "Open Studio Sessions” that will give you practical tools in participatory work processes.

We hope you enjoy your read and find it helpful,

The Sheatufim Team

Does Collective Impact Really Work?

In 2017 Ridzi & Doughty published the first
book entirely devoted to the Collective Impact approach and its degree of effectiveness. We invite you to read the Hebrew summary we prepared. The book offers findings of an extensive study conducted in the US. Bottom line, the answer is “yes”, but the authors are unwilling to commit to it being the only approach that works.
Examination of the Collective Impact approach and its effectiveness is, in itself a significant contribution. It presents a variety of examples and a wealth of data that sheds light on the nature of the operation of cross-sector partnerships in general, and of collective impact initiatives in the field of literacy in particular.

A Taste of the Collective Impact Conference 2021

We were happy to take part again this year in the Collective Impact Action Summit 2021. Among other things, we dived into the fascinating field of measurement and evaluation in collaborative processes - development, application and assimilation of joint measurement in collective impact processes. See here (in hebrew) a glimpse into the highlights of data-based decision-making in a collaborative process.
