In the last decade, “Collective Impact” has developed from a basic concept in a groundbreaking article, to a vital, diverse and effective field of action at the forefront of the area of ​​ collaborative social impact. Organizations, researchers, and multi-stakeholders initiatives around the world are developing practical tools alongside theoretical models that enrich the professional discourse and experience.

We chose to dedicate the first "Sheatuf-yeda" newsletter, to a hot update from the global knowledge front, dealing with the first stages of Collective Impact processes. We added a practical tool developed in Sheatufim by our professional teams. The purpose of this tool is to build consent between multi stakeholders taking part in Collective Impact initiatives, during the initial period and also in proceeding stages of the project.
 
The Sheatuf-yeda newsletter is an open invitation to keep updated and share knowledge in all matters pertaining to sectoral and cross-sectoral collaborative processes.

Collective Impact - From Vision to Implementation

The annual conference of the Collective Impact Forum, in collaboration with FSG took place about a month ago in Chicago. In the workshop for backbone organizations of Collective Impact Initiatives, in which we participated, emphasis was placed on the Working Groups as an effective mechanism for creating system change, and on how important it is to navigate the process in a way that enables quick wins in the initial period.  For some examples see inside. Click here for the full presentation.

How is this done? Our tool for building a common agenda
Forming a common agenda is one of the first tasks of any collaborative social action that involves players with different points of view. This is a complex process, which has a decisive influence on the success of the shared action. We at Sheatufim developed a tool designed to help anyone who is at this stage. No matter which model you work with, and which strategy of action you choose, you are invited to adopt the approach suggested here, which is based both on professional experience and on the theoretical knowledge we have gathered.
