New product: GLOBAL_ANALYSIS_FORECAST_PHY_001_024
This product replaces the former GLOBAL_ANALYSIS_FORECAST_PHYS_001_002:
- Better account for oceanic observations measured by satellites and in situ thanks to a major upgrade of the system (modelisation and assimilation method), new initialisation and the use of a new set of sea ice observation.
- Interaction between the ocean and the atmosphere will be better represented: global mean elevation of the ocean surface due to the warming of the ocean and a more accurate surface mass (rain) exchanges will be taken care of.
- Archived time series replayed and available for the time period [01/01/2007; ongoing] against [01/01/2013; ongoing] now.
- Extension on the forecast temporal coverage from +7 days to +10 days
- Accuracy improved for many of the parameters that make up forecast.
- Provision of hourly datasets instead of 2 hourly
